We do not believe that dieting and calorie restricting are the keys to sustainable and healthy weight loss. As Wellness Way practitioners, we understand that inflammation is the underlying contributor to the health issues we see every day in our office. By determining the underlying factors causing inflammation in the body and removing those factors, we see drastic health improvements and with that often comes a reduction in weight. 

When we continuously consume foods that our immune system senses as a threat, our body is designed to flag that threat and as a result creates inflammation in the body. Inflammation is a way of our body telling us that there is healing and repair to be done. By properly testing immune responses to foods and removing foods that the body is reacting to, we see incredible results, such as weight loss, as the sources of inflammation are eliminated. 


A successful weight loss journey for one may not be as successful for another. We are all unique individuals with different physiology, and our journey toward health should follow that concept. In our office, you will never see a “one size fits all” approach. We work with each patient individually, to determine what may be the cause of their inability to lose weight and will create an individualized plan of action to keep the extra weight off! We love sharing healthy recipes with our patients and will support and encourage you on your weight loss journey. There is hope in shedding those pounds and regaining your life back!
